Right then, when do I get to find out who's ass I'm supposed to be kicking in the next round?! :)
I'm kind of glad I don't have to enter anything at the moment - I took some of what I consider to be my best shots the other day, got really excited and then realised my camera's date was set wrong. Bummer. |

Round 3? I am not out of round 1 yet! lol. |

With all of the round 1 matches ending this week... I am sure there will be some very high avg's for the non-winners yet to come. Judi and either AndrewT or his opponent dainmcgowan will all have avg's over 6.
I think that means I will likely face the non-winner out of AndrewT or DainMcgowan. |

Not quite...I have 3 entries in voting at the moment...and none of them are out of the 5's.

It's not silent/sound, your first challenge results that count will be the FS :-) |

Well that's good news to me, it was about to be over before it really got started. I was just going by the round 2 spreadsheet on your website. BTW thanks for putting this challenge together. |

If Silence/Sound is your deciding challenge, then your average that's taken into account for the highest loser spot will your average up to and including that challenge. The challenges after that (I'm guessing FS and Grey?) won't count. I think you'll still come in over 6 and I'll be very surprised if you don't qualify for round 2.

That's OK. I un-hid that column by mistake. Should be fixed now.

For those of us that are waiting for the FS voting to be over to determine match ups.... that means that the begin/end challenges will NOT count for us for round 2 because it is before the end of round one correct?
ETA a second question: For the purpose of the head to heads in round 2, if their is a tie and it is 1-1 after the end of the feb FS results, the avg used to determine the winner is only from the start of their head to head (in round 2) up to and including all matches to the feb FS correct?
and a 3rd: However the avg used to determine the 4 highest ranked non-winners in round 2 is very simply their avg of all matches from the Life 3 entries on, regardless of whether those matches were valid during the 2nd round? (in other words if there were challenges between the end of your round 1 and the start of your round 2, those challenges if you entered are also part of your avg for the round 3 highest non-winners?)
Please let me know. Sorry if that confuses anyone. LOL

1. That's right.
2. Depends when the match starts. Basically go one month forward from the day the match starts. That might include challenges after the Feb FS.
3. Yes that's right too. |

Now that I am totally confused. hahahaa. So I am going by the chart to and now it says the FS (which I am not in) and then grey and then the begin/end. I am in grey and at a 5.6 right now I think. I am in "begin" but I dont think you will be in an open sempermarine ? Which I guess will leave us waiting for the next challenge to be revealed.
Yeh for Judi and Basssman7 I was going by the chart and found that if I won match 2 then I would be most likely up against one of you so that is why I mentioned it. hahah.
Good so we are still ago sempermarine! Thanks for changing the chart SoulMan1978 so we know what is up. I think we were both a little confused there.

Soulman, I never realized till tonight that you are from Peterborough, UK. I am from Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. I wonder if there is anyone here from Peterborough N.H., USA? |

Soulman, cmtc has completed all his entries for the month, and I have only the FS left to score. Since we're tied in matches, when does the tie breaker come into effect?

OK, Silence/Sound results:
basssman7 beat Judi, score 2-0, and wins the match
LydiaToo beat mbrutus2009, score 2-0, and wins the match
Somehow, I think we've not seen the last of Judi however, as she goes straight to the top of the highest non-winner table.
Standings Here

I am glad in a way that between sempermarine and I that the opens arent going to count. I am hitting rock bottom with my Begin picture. I am not happy that it may hurt my average tho.
Ok sempermarine here is what is up now. I will be in the brown ribbon challenge and in the apple challenge. Just fyi. I guess I will be in the free study to later on at some point. |

My free study is the best I've ever had so it my help my average a bit. I'm getting crushed in Grey, I'll be lucky to crack a 5. (Though I think the shot is 6.0 material) So that should put you up 1-0. I only stayed away from the open this week because I couldn't come up with a good enough executable concept. I will also be entering the brown ribbon challenge and in the apple challenge. I'm looking forward to those two challenges. |
