I would love to get in the action.

Its like March Madness, just with less running... and jumping... and basketball...

...so its not like March Madness at all. :)

Either way, count me in.

I'm in. This should be fun to go head to head with another person. Do I have time to take some photography classes??

MAX!

Listen to you ;-) I was looking at your lines shot, I can't believe that scored that low :-(

Edit to replace the word "lies" with "lines" although bearing in mind the discussion of late about photogs fooling with other with shots, perhaps a lies shot would be apt at the mo ;-)

Sunday morning bump. We've got 21 so far, I'd like to get it to 24 or even 32. Who else is up for it? (as it were ;-) )

Just a thought (after re reading the rules) having 32 players means for a couple of us this challenge will go on until July 2010! Is a month a little too long for each round?

I had envisaged doing the draw for round 2 almost as soon as round 1 begins, so you can see who you're likely to play in the next round. That match would in theory begin as soon as practical as the two matches before it finish.

EG, if it was running now, let's say Ecce Signum won a round 1 match with his sunset shot and colorcarnival won her round 1 match with her sunset shot. I'd have done the draw for round 2 already and let's also say that in that draw Andi was playing Michelle. Their match can theory start this morning with the "All I want for Christmas" challenge.

Does that make sense? It does mean that some people will start round 2 (and potentially round 3) before all round 1 matches are finished. Reckon it would be easier if, say, I didn't draw round 3 until all the round 1 matches are finished?

Oh btw, I make it we need 3 more if anyone else fancies a go.

I'll give this a go but given my current DPC appeal I should be out fairly quickly...

I think I understand Barry. How about doing some sort of seeding then bracket it so we know all the possible competitors for the duration of the tourney? That way there will be no waiting for a new draw and the next round could start in the challenge after the results are known. It should speed things up but could still take 16 months if the eventual winner takes a month each time.
