I can't find this question in the forums, but it would surprise me if nobody had asked it yet: If I comment without voting, can the challengers see the comments? Right away or after the challenge is over? Thanks! |

I'm pretty sure it shows right away. I could be wrong though.

Yes, it shows up right away. |

I have received a few from people who don't vote and I don't have to wait until after the challenge is over. |

But does it affect the points? For example the "average (commenters)"?
It would be strange if a non-vote does not pull it down but I guess DPC may exclude all non-voters from all point calculations - which would of course be the best solution. |

The commenter can see the comment straight away.
As far as I know, the average score of commenters is the average of the people who have commented and voted on your pic. Therefore the one that comment and don't vote have no effect on that figure.
As an example from one of my old pics:
I've got 7 comments, but the average score of commenters given is 4.75, which means, because of the decimal, that the number of commenters that made up this figure must be divisible by 4, and since it was less than 7, it must be 4. Which means 3 ppl commented but didn't vote. If a different number of commenters counted for this figure, I'd have a different decimal on the end of my score. |
