Yeah, hsteg is quite a stud. He could run circles around me (photographicaly) and he is even four years younger than myself, and I am young as it is. He is definetely a rising star and I think could be somre REAL competition here before too terribly long. |
thanks, hahaha, real competeion, my score for the sihouettes is 4.xxx, one of my worst, I thought it'd do much better. O well. Thanks again for the compliments.
EDIT: yeah, im still itching for a ribbon... and a print sale.

A suggestion: How about lists of top photographers? Maybe highest average score, most pictures entered, and such. Maybe we could rate portfolio pictures?

I actually feel embarrassed to see my name mentioned here. And by someone whose photos are so much better than mine. I can't believe Mavrik hasn't got a ribbon either.

There are a lot of people mentioned in the thread that I had assumed, because of their work, had ribbons.
I've been frustrated by not breaking in to the top three (I've placed as high as 7th and in the top 15 a few times). But when I see all of the extremely talented (much more so then me)people who have not ribboned yet, I feel better. In fact, a little ashamed that I expected to.
