I just got a "Cream Machine" and was using it on the street today at f1.4 and 1.8, while on my way home from B&H.
eta: it's the Nikon 85mm 1.4

Taken the same day as my 11/08 entry but wasn't sure whether I would submit it elsewhere... |

I've been out of action with a dead hard drive... so not many pics or comments from me... I will try to keep commenting, but I think I've lost the drive to finish the pics this month.

More from Veteran's Day. It's too cold to shoot -- almost got frostbite yeserday!

I haven't been out in the street much lately because it has mostly been wet and windy. (And I am in Australia where it is almost summer.)
I took this a few days ago, trying out my new camera but I still feel a bit uncomfortable shooting people.
I liked the juxtaposition of these elderly shoppers chatting in front of the lingerie shop. |

A couple of photos of a couple waiting at a bus stop. It's a pity that the back of the shelter doesn't come up a bit higher. I considered one of these for the benches challenge, but went with something else.

Part of the same bus stop as before, but with a group of teenagers instead. |

A schoolgirl is having her portrait drawn by a street artist while her father stands by. In the second picute he is digging money out to pay for it.
This is a shot of more of what was going on. The local society of artists was exhibiting some of their work in the shopping mall and some were actually doing some work there while passersby stopped to have a look. |
