Three today, as they belong together, as they tell us a story.
I may put these three into a triptych.....

Percy catching Squid

Percy coming out of the water for more Squid.

Percy waiting for us to give him some more Squid.

He is just amazing, and we keep our distance from him, just out of arms reach, as we do not want to touch him, at any time we are near him. I was actually up on a retaining wall looking down at him.

There are many Pelicans along the beginning of Bribie Island's 'Pumastone Passage', just off Bullcock and Golden Beach, here at Caloundra.

He is my favorite Pelican, as he nearly is always there to greet us, when we come down to this local spot. You can see more of him in my bird folder, taken a couple of years ago, as I am sure it is the same bird.

I am sure he remembers me all the time, as other people try and take photos, but cannot get as close as I do. We are about the same height, and I think he remembers me.

We never have trains around here! My son was so excited to see this one. We have a light rail passenger system that runs through from 6am until 12pm daily. Usually any freight trains need to run after it closes. So while this may be something a lot of you see on a regular basis, it's quite rare around here.

Hey Ken, thanks for adding me!
Here are 3 shots to catch me up. For those of you who don't know, my cousin, and one of my best friends passed away in Sept., so I haven't really been doing much. I took his dog, so now I have 3, which makes it harder for me to take pics, but I've found ways to manage!

Oh, there's no pics of the new guy yet, because I have to keep him on a leash. (He's a beagle and likes to run!)

Today was all work. Suddenly my sons and I have 6 days to do about three weeks of machine work remodeling the machinery in a small tomato packing plant.
The hot tub shot was lit with a single florescent outdoor light which is on a post just above the corner of my house, and just level with the bottom of the philadendron leaves. A big limb broke off the oak tree there, punching a hole in the cover to the hot tub. I left the vine, and it made a "U" turn and grew back upward on itself. That made the nice swirl of leaves.
