Yeah the pecking order seems to be something like this:

1. Get on this page (bottom portion) - Doesn't have the same immediate high exposure as being on the front page but once you're there it's pretty much permanent exposure.

2. Win a ribbon - Greatest exposure but temporary.

3. Reach the top ten - Good exposure but also temporary.

4. Enter a challenge - Decent exposure but also temporary.

5. Upload to your portfolio - Depends on how much you pimp advertise your photos in threads or how active/popular you are in general. If you're hot or most of your subjects are than multiple that by a factor of 5.

There you go. :P

Score wise, this image was a suprise to me -- I almost entered another one but my DPL teammates talked me out of it.

From my limited knowledge, I can pretty much say that Yanko and AlexSaberi take the most amazing deer/buck shots. If I missed someone, have me excused:-)

If you ask me, its a wonderfully 'dark' image that stirs the subconscious (dont ask me what that means:-)

cause its trippy and creepy and lets people hear wind in the background and creeking branches and 'ooooooo'. get what im saying? :)
