I just got this anonymous comment in my inbox:

Just my personal opinion, so feel free to ignore it, but suggest you knock off the nutty comments you sprinkled around the challenge. They create the impression you're a nut. Are you? Are you a nut??


I knew going in to this thing that it was going to be hit or miss. That some people would like it, others wouldn't. I tried my very best to make comments that were benign and fun, but in this day and age, you're never going to not offend someone are you?

Anyway, as I said in the Free Study Scores thread, it was a lot of fun to do and I wanted to bring something a little different to the table. I think I did that. I hope most people enjoyed it.

So, am I a nut?

Yes, yes, I think I might possibly be, but I also know that it's the good kind of nut. The kind that isn't afraid to try something new.

So I'll be back next Free Study for another round. Good luck to everyone in future challenges, good luck to myself! (I'll better a 5.06, I swear it. lol)

Most of all, get out there and have some fun here.

Not sure your anonymous comment isn't bogus. - How do you make anonymous comments anyway? Are you a nut, are you? And why didn't I get a piece of soon to be vintage K10DGuy comment? Why, why didn't I? Why?

well, it wasn't anonymous in my email, but for DPC purposes, the person shall remain so.

*EDIT* oh, and enter October Free Study, you might get lucky! hehehe

OMG... LMAO! Must... breathe...

I just read through your comments and that was some seriously funny stuff! You should create the next Gary Larson style comic strip.

I know I didn't enter the Sept Free Study, but I want a comment on one of my images... pleeeeeeze?

I am going to enter Oct. FS also just to get a chance at one of your comments... I have been reading them and am totally amazed at your brain.. you need to write stories.. lots of them because you obviously have zillions of ideas and my brain finds them fascinating. I will buy your books...with pictures please.

Well, to offset (perhaps) the "nut" comment, I had already awarded you a Special in the Posthumous thread precisely for your creative and entertaining comments. One of these PostLUMINOUSs Award, paired with 5-7 dollars, can get you a coffee beverage of your choice at Starbucks.

I enjoyed your comment on mine and on others' as well. Yep, you're the "good kind" of nut, and it's totally original, refreshing. Some folks need to lighten up.

Ahhhh....crap. I throughly enjoyed my comment and reading other comments you left on the freestudy submissions. I hope you continue to comment. You did great....and took the time to create some really funny and amusing stories.

I got a 6+ score and ended the challenge with 1 comment and 2 faves...but no K10Dguy comment. :(

The non comment/ story outline was interesting to say the least on my entry.

I don't mind your thoughts, no one else will own up to a critique, nay a sincere comment, so what you bring to the table is just fine, at least for me.

We should collaborate.

I too tell stories.

well, I for one salute you, some of the comments are very very well thought out and very amusing.. I plan to go thru some of them later, hope they are as good as the few I have read so far.. thanks for that..
