the funny thing is that most of the gays have tried out being straight and then found that it does not work for them.
on the other hand, none of the straights have tried out being gay and found that it does not work for them.
just a thought. |

Some of us gays haven't. A lot of us, actually. I dunno if you can use 'most' anymore... I grew up in a generation of kids that often didn't try to fit in very hard. Blame our counterculture parents, I guess. Or the Breakfast Club.
But it's not like the concept's paraded in front of me every moment of my life or anything. I have a pretty good feel for it. ;) |

i was trying to look at funny side of it. i wasn't so serious.
Personally i am for freedom, if someone wants to do something let him/her do it. As long as it does not harm others.
After all life is short, enjoy the way you like not the way others like you to.

I just never can tell with you. Your 'serious' is exactly the same as your 'joking'. |

Or you could simply admit that you haven't a clue to the reference and realize you weren't the intended audience.
It wasn't about you!.....8>)

Well, Jeb, I'm not sure I'd go there if I were you, given your penchant for wading into threads where you respond very aggressively to posts that you were not the "intended audience" of, ya know? :-)

So.....I'm now not allowed to make a joke if it can be misconstrued?
Shall I send it out privately first for review?
Perhaps you can give me the approved list.
Here's a thought.....ask Rob if he saw it as a joke and saw the humor in it, as it was a response to his post.
ETA: If you want to assume the worst all the time, go ahead, but bear in mind that's projection, and just 'cause someone's hot button may have been pushed or they have a bad day doesn't mean they're like that all the time.
Yeah, I have my days, but it'd be nice if you wouldn't just assume that everything I have to say is rotten.
If that's the way you really feel, then think about it REALLY hard and PLEASE let me know, because I don't need to be a detriment to the community.

Apparently, neither am I? I'm certainly not implying you're not welcome in this community, sheesh... I just saw a delicious incongruity in *what* you were calling him out on, and said as much, with a grin :-)

Why not come over for dinner at my place? My husband will barbecue something delicious for you. I guarantee the flavor of his brisket will help you keep it down in our presence, as long as you don't focus too hard on the four balls thing. |
No thank you - don't want to catch anything.
