Pssst... Here are a couple out-of-place shots of Tina Faust (tfaust at DPC) wearing a live butterfly:
..
I tried to tell Tina (That is tfaust on DPC for those of you who don't know) that putting a mirror in front of the lense would not work for capturing the butterfly shot back over the top of her head, but she wouldn't listen.
Now don't tell her (tfaust) about this post. It is supposed to be a secret. She (Tina Faust) is not supposed to know about this. She might be embarrased if people found out she likes to wear live butterflys as hair clips and listens to old Barry Manilow records.
So don't tell Tina (again, that is tfaust here at DPC)

Please... don't repond lots to this post. That puts it back at the top of the list and Tina (tfaust on DPC but don't contact her) might see it.
It is my understanding it took her a week to get the butterfy doodoo out of her hair.

OK. I won't respond to it either so maybe she won't see it. I understand how embarrassing butterfly doo in the hair can be... oops.. maybe not.. I'm bald. I'll have to ask Tina about that experience.

If you look closely you can see the butterfly pointing out where Tina should photograph. I think we now know how she is getting those great shots. :-)

Whew! I am glad not many people have posted comments to this post. We don't want Tina to find out.
The only problem I had with the whole business was that Tina used her blond hair to tie down the butterfly's tiny little legs so it could not fly away. If the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Swallowtails ever finds out about that she could be in big trouble!

This is awful!
Please keep this under your hat. Don't let Tina Faust (remember that is tfaust right here at: //www.dpchallenge.com/profile.php?USER_ID=8125 ) see this. She is VERY sensitive and will be crushed if she finds out.
Apparently, Tina failed to secure a proper modeling release form from one of the Zebra Longwings she was photographing in the Butterfly Pavillion at the Desert Botanical Gardens here in Phoenix.
Now the butterflys are all aflutter. They are staging a big wing-out and refusing to fly around for patrons at one of Garden's most poupular springtime attractions.
I have to go talk to the media and head this thing off before it becomes the lead story on the local news here tonight. That would be a blight on all photographers everywhere.
Wish me luck. I'll do the best I can...

Would you like me to hide it until tomorrow for maximum effect? |

I don't think there is a problem. Tina doesn't pay very close attention. This will probably slip right past her!

I didn't even notice the butterfly. I was drooling over the "Rebel" and the lens attached to it :P |

Especially if you keep bumping it to the top of the list. |

Paul... You are right. She never looks at the top of the list.

I could lock it so she wouldn't be able to berate you in public.

Wellll... It happened. Today's Arizona Republic headline reads...
"Wing-out Protest Closes Popular Attraction" (See previous comment for details)
Though she isn't specifically named in the story it appears Tina Faust, a popular photographer at DPC, is being investigated by local authorities, the FBI and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Swallowtails. Attempting to rip off butterflys appears to be the primary charge. The claim is she failed to get a properly signed medeling release form from a certain now very miffed Zebra Longwing.

Well, if I wasn't popular before, I am now :-)
Thanks Steve - this has been fun to watch. What everyone doesn't know is how you are duping them into thinking that a butterfly really landed on my head.
That's some great work if I ever saw it, looks SO real!
