This is off-topic, sorry to ask this here. Is this statement true and what does "selective" mean then? If you create a HSL adjustment layer and choose to desaturate the red, is this illegal?
EDIT: Ok I went to the selective desat tutorial by Konador and see that what I asked about is legal.

The techniques in that tutorial are legal in general, but not for this particular challenge. |
