I nearly was not able to complete this series of rose images, if I had not rescued them from the rubbish. Thank goodness Peter had only just put them in there, and on top of the clean newspapers. |
You could select one rose & put it somewhere interesting where it can accumulate dust & cobwebs. In fact, if it was me, I'd set up a tableau & let it get covered w/dust. Take the pic sometime next year. Just post a sign--"Art project, do not touch!"
I was accumulating a nice collection of fascinating shades of gray lint from an old washing machine, carefully saved in an old florist's vase. Someone threw out my lint collection, thinking they were doing me a favor, taking out the garbage. They were surprised when I didn't react that well to my year-old lint collection ending up in the trash! I had plans to wrap each little bundle w/metallic thread to create human-shaped blobs & set it up in a shadow-box like a migration or exodus, with a burnt-paper BG. Sigh. |

I second that suggestion! Cuz, uh, that's what I would do. For, um, art you know. It's not like I don't dust or anything. |

UPDATE; Judy left a comment of this rose image, and I loved it, so changed the title to what she suggested to "As I Lay Dying".
I really think it suits the image so much more.
Thank you Judy, Jutilda
