I had a little time to adventure around in my back yard this afternoon, so here are some of the results. If you want to comment, pick one so as not to use up too much time on this group. I had a pretty good day and wanted to share more than one.

Day 15 : Renaissance
This second photo was taken on a macro hunt around the house this afternoon before company came over. I had the SB-800 on camera with both the built in and pop on wide angle diffusers, but it was still too bright, so I made a quick and cheap difusser and I thought some of you might like to see it.

16 - Not Another Flower Again!

I was set up and shooting the little flower at f32 for DOF, when the ant came along, so I opened up to 2.8 to get a shot of the ant. The first is done using my monopod with aux legs as a tripod, and the second is hand held at 1/125 sec. Ant's move around quite rapidly in macro land. I had a bit of a time getting things readjusted and then focusing to be able to get a shot at him. The flower is a little larger than life size in the thumbnail.
