To be honest, it's not glo-ing. I just adjusted the colors in pp and decided to keep it for the fun of it. Not entirely happy with artifacts like the blue halos but this is just for the fun of it anyhow.

I put a cheap magnifyer on my lens for this. That made for insanely shallow DOF, hense the small aperature (to keep the second hand somewhat sharp).

The color matches the indiglo label pretty well, and I like the texture on the watch face. I agree on the hand giving a nice sense of movement. Nice subject and a good close up. Does seem a tad oversharpened to me, and I see what you mean about the artifacts. Nice job anyway, and a fun shot.

I actually like that the hand is not entirely sharp - conveys a sense of movement. And you really fooled me with the blue color - I thought it was glowing for real. Nice composition too.

I love seeing fascinating images of ordinary objects. It's good, though I can appreciate that you were trying to achieve something and didn't quite get it. I am sometimes my own worst critic as well.
