As far as I know the final poster will be 30"x40". The poster and the photos we shoot will need to be in landscape orientation, but it would be a good idea to have some portrait orientation shots as well, just in case ;) Using a standard 4x6 aspect ratio should be fine b/c we can resize as needed.

This deinitely gives you the desert feel! I really like it, and yes we are still on!!! We were waiting for better weather, since we're headed into spring I think we are going to be seeing a lot more shots posted here!! I live in Ky and this weekend is 'Thunder over Louisville', a MASSIVE fireworks display to kick off the KY derby week. It's a great time to be in KY and I plan on getting TONS of shots of all the festivities!! I am also going to be heading out next weekend to some horse farms as well to see what I can get. :)
As of right now I am hoping we will all be able to be finished in one month, but the actual deadline is still up in the air. |

WOW!! You've got a ton of beautiful shots here, I can see why it would be hard to choose!! I picked my favorite 3 and put them on the first page next to your name. :) |

Ok, I've been holding out for better weather (read "better shooting opportunities")because I wanted to submit somthing new and quintessential NH. I was shooting the first of images below for the B&W side challenge and was lucky enough to end up with a nice portrait version for the "Warm Colors" challenge. Maple syrup time is very NH (you cn see the traditional sap buckets on the trees)and it is a new image or at least a new perspective of an image.
I'm submitting this second image from my files as well. Foliage and covered bridges are also very representative of NH. I offer them both for your selection

The Camellia is the Alabama State Flower. Here are 2 possibilities. Does it have to be a landscape? |

Those are lovely pictures! I don't mind if it isn't a landscape as long as someone might be able to guess which state it is.

Okay - here's a shot from Alaska that I took yesterday. If this one won't work, just let me know and I'll give you more. I like this as it not only shows the beauty, the recreation shared by many (shot from a boat), but also our state flag

I think it's great! Clever way to have the state flag in there as well!! I don't know iif its possible, but it would be great to try and fix the mountains in the middle where its a little blown out. Great shot all around! :) |

This is really lovely, I love the way it fades from almost completely black to almost completely white. It also gives the sky that 'massive' feel that we get in person. Well done! |
