My first entry was a natural light portrait and got a 4.8.
There are a few things I would do differently about it (like the nasty border - I'm not sure what I was thinking).

My first is my second best. People really get freaked out looking at it too. It elicited exactly the reaction I was going for. Now I just need to translate that into the rest of my photography.

I can remember being very disappointed in the score, but I have learned, after several brown ribbons and a couple of yellow ribbons, that 5.8 is not so bad. |

I haven't looked at this one in a long time. I remember thinking it was alright when I shot it then I looked at everyone else's entries? Yah...I quickly realized how cruddy it was. I had taken a bunch of shots for the Rubber Duck challenge too and they were actually quite a bit better.

Oh! Here's my first entry - I knew absolutely nothing at the time and landed a 4.6.
My latest entry is a personal best for me at 6.36- now I FINALLY have a DSLR shot in my top scores!

This was my first entry, which so far has been my best. I took 5th place with 6.9055. I was pleasantly suprised and hope to be able to do even better in the future. |
