My first entry was so bad, I can't believe I oversharpened the way I did. To make matters worse I received a validation request? someone thought I dodged and burned?

I also received a fantastic critique from the critique club.... graphicfunk

My first entry was my lowest score ever.

It was a bicycles challenge and i ended up secondlast narrowly beating someone who submitted a photo of a MOTORcycle

Funny thing is that I like the photo too!

My brother iraklis just joined and scored a 6.2 and top 20 finish!

Wow, I just had a look at that challenge, this site has really come a long way since then. No offence meant to the original members but yikes, there are some shot of dubious quality in there...

Last 4.4192
Have shot a couple that were better but I still don't have the knack. Gear gets better shots get worse.

My first entry is still in voting... almost over though. It looks like it's going to end up around a 5.4 unless someone comes in at the last minute and gives it a 1 or 2.

First entry: 07%
Second: 45%
Third: 01%

Been keeping the graph irregular ever since, and lately with some real baddies.

Say, when is some genius going to provide our profiles with such graphs, sort of like histograms?

Thank you, yes edited out.
Don't think I have violated any editing rules, at present my skill only goes up to the basic editing level anyway, lol. Am amazed at what can be achieved, although yes, I realise the basic rules of taking photo's need to be in place first of all.

Good luck everyone on the Yellow competition!

Voting is nearly over thankfully, hope I don't get my photo disqualified for that. That would be a good start, disqualified on a first entry! :-(

You wont be DQ'd unless you violated some editing or date rules.

Welcome to DPC and good luck! 5.2 is not a bad score for DPC.

:-D

Not supposed to give away your entry. Anonymity in the voting process is imperative.
