Well, okay, um.... it wasn't a professional photographer. It was me.
Last week, the principal at one of my schools asked me to take a photo of some old monument near by. I think it was an ancient burial mound or something, dating from 810 AD.
His own photos had been too out of focus, and as I happened to have my camera he took me there. It's for the cover of some educational pamphlet for school principals in the area.
As they're not allowed to pay in cash, today he gave me a box of cakes. I supposed you'd want to see it... oh, and I ate one already. ;-Þ

got it wrong ;)
And that is really surprising that that is 1200 years old! Or is it just something to mark the site.
Sweet story of payment. Hope the cakes were good :) |

LOL I was paid in cakes before, along with a limited edition print from the artist. I took pictures of the cakes for her, she makes and sells them as well as being an artist.

I paid a model with French onion soup once.
The shoot required about 50lb of onions. So, after the shoot, I made soup.

David,
At least you got paid. I did a wedding for a friend of the family and didn't even get a thank you. Oh wait, I did get a piece of the wedding cake. Still I like your story better. |

Define CAKES. You folks call those tiny little mouth sized bits cakes, right? |

Did you at least straighten the horizon before you gave them the photo?
