this was my runner up for elements, I figured would get too many PS'ed and does not fit challenge comments, but is a fairly straight shot of a reflection in the water....
any critiques, comments welcome...
p.s. just for fun see if you can see the swimming moose : )

I like it alot. It's very abstract. Probably would have been too much for DPC, though.

Is there really a moose in that one? Maybe in the lower right corner?

I like it too but you were right to fear that it would get hammered. To my eye, it could pass for an abstract created in software. Hope your entry does well.

I'm still looking for the moose, although it looks like there's a zebra in there too. Great abstract; I'd like to know more about the conditions which created that look.

my guess is that is is rotated 90 degrees CCW.. the moose would then be too the left of the shot....
how'd i do?

the moose in the bottom right 'he is white'...
where's the zebra? : )
Was a sunny day, and the water was reflecting a metal dock, it was a very vivid reflection, at home I cropped and rotated a little and then I increased contrast a bit... (resized and sharpened too)
1/125, 5.6 , 100
hope that gives you the info looking for gordon, was a fairly straight forward shot...

The zebra is on the lower left - He's hiding behind the white silouette of a girl with her arm up and her hair blowing.

Perhaps we should all cut back on our recreational consumables ....

My thought is it is more to the right than this. He is facing right and towards the back. His butt is facing us. That's what I saw. Is that it?

I can't see past all the clowns!
Extremly good abstract. I could dive into all the color and texture and swim around all day.

Hey, this is what I call abstract! It's so cool, and I love photographs where I can let my fantasy free. Thanks for sharing, I will keep looking at this photo. :-)

You mean the moose on the right with three legs and two tails? Designed by a committee? This photograph is a super abstract with lovely colors. Glad you posted it!
