Looks like this challenge started off high and dropped for many of us. I am really surprised at how well this one is doing so far. Perhaps there were a few people that tend to vote high early on.

Much like a bumpy sleigh ride through the hills. Started climbing then fell hard only to start climbing again. Doesn't matter if it's a smooth or rough ride my score always seems to find that not quite good enough wedge that is 6.4-6.5.

Started off at a cheerful 6.1 but has slipped slowly all day. Time for bed now with the expectation of a miserable 4.something in the morning. Oh well. Gonna have a nightcap and a mince pie and dream of a 7.5 daybreak!

I knew the 8.0 I had early on would not hold up. Dowm just below six now. I tried something different for me. I think some are liking it and some are not. This is a learning entry.

Hey guys,
This is my first time submitting here, so I'm curious about how the ratings traditionally go. I have a 6.135 so far, which is a kinda depressing number, but I understand the competitive nature here. |

6.13 is excellent for a first timer. Be happy if you get above a 6 and be estatic if you get above a 7. ;)

I was at a 6.1 about 12 votes ago and have been sliding since the 2 vote I got from someone who obviously dislikes my entry, lol. Hopeing to get back to at least a 6 but we shall see.

6.1 is not a depressing score! I'm pretty new myself, my third entry. Both my previous entries started low and built over time, still - six days to go! Dunno what other people think though.

After some early high votes, mine has dropped into the high 5's which is still a bit better than I had hoped for. Some high votes could still bump it back over a 6, but I'm not expecting it.
AjKaz11, scoring in the 6's is doing very well. The problem is that your score is the average of what everybody who voted thinks of it. Take a look at your score breakdown after the challendge and you will likely find some people really liked it and gave it 8's and 9's, while you will uysually get some 2's and 3's as well. It takes a lot to get over a 6. Something that scores in the mid 5's at DPC would be a great photo if you showed it to anyone else.
