I dropped out of the 6's. Dang. My Perspective shot is bombing (though I didn't have high expectations for it) and now my Texture entry is falling off too. |

There are definately a few very good shots in this one. I just voted about 2/3 of them with comments on about 25% of all entries so far.

Sometimes it works that way. It's hard to tell what others will think of it. I thought my textures entry was lacking and would do in the low to mid 5's. It's coming in solidly in the low 6's. My Perspective entry, which I thought was really good, is bombing in the low 5's. |

I have 3 entries being voted, all 3 last-minute efforts, and all 3 in the mid-6 range. So yeah, that's how it seems to work. When I think too much I get hammered, when I just go brain-dead I do OK.

Yep, I have two images about to go into voting, and on a photographic level I think they're amongst my highest achievements. But if they do better than this one I will be very surprised...
