I'm in for Old Ways too. Kinda sorta a shoehorn but I fixed her up and squeezed her in. It makes sense to me. :P

please move her from OOFers to Team Zombie when you get a chance.

I'm in for old ways. I predict that I'll get slapped around quite a bit, but I don't care becauise I really like it and it may very well be headed for OOBie territory. It's making me twitch, but I can't say more about it than that.

Umm....are you guys okay with me rattling on about the way things have been taking off?

I don't mean to brag; I'm just so stunned with how all of a sudden it's happening in various directions.

But I'll be quiet if it rubs anyone the wrong way, I don't want that.....I'm just SOOOO thrilled!!!!

I never thought this would actually happen!

I take it as inspiration....so please spill it! What is going on these days?

Here are a few shots that I got when Bob ( bmartuch) and I went on our little adventure into the "thumb" area of MI. on the coldest day of the year. Well, it wasn't the coldest but right there along the great lakes, it felt like it.

Oaky....the people who bought a 36" version of this:

Asked if I'd have a couple other shots of the river & bridges over the Susquehanna enlarged and framed so he could display them (For sale, of course) in their day spa that overlooks the river.....the enlargements came back from the printer today and they look great! They're both 24X30, and the resolution is very good.

And the gallery I work with was featured in Harrisburg Magazine, which is a decent rag, and though the image wasn't really the point, it was the gallery, my image was the one they used to promote the gallery.

The lawyer liked the first shot I edited of one of his people working in the office, and the man that referred me called to check and make sure that I got the job.

Thanks guys!

Oh....a little side note about scores.....that river shot, all 5.312 of it, is EXACTLY the same as my challenge entry, only enlarged to 36" wide.......with a simple metal frame, that sold for $200.

Team scores and framed childless shots are up in the results thread. Congrats to hipychik, Melethia, and noraneko for the top scores this week!

I was at 4.51xx when I first got up this morning, but two hours later and I've crossed to 5.25xx. Very surprising given the image (I expected no upward momentum at all).

I've got scores off - I have one in "Old Ways" I quite like, so I figure it best not to look. And my Birds was meandering around my nickname mark last I looked (says "MissFivePointThree").

I will say (as I did in the scores thread) that I'm having a wonderful time voting the Birds challenge. Neat to see all the various avian varieties and some of the more interpretative entries as well.

Uh, Deb......according to your profile, you're Miss 5.7!

I, however, am Mr. 5.3......although it has been steadily creeping upward for a while since I've overcome my co-dependent need to enter a challenge every week.

Old Ways is doing better than I expected......figures since I don't really care 'cause I had such a good time shooting for another challenge!

Roger that, Bruce. My bird has backpedalled some, so you may win the race.

My Old Ways is old in at least three ways, but I think that dpcers are still not making the connection, because I'm under 5. I haven't looked at the challenge yet, but I have an intuition that the winner will be a 100 year old woman with a scarf around her head.

Hell yeah! ... As was already said it is only fuel for inspiration. Thanks for sharing and congratulations.

I actually had some ideas for Old Ways, but the deadline snuck up before I was able to go out to shoot :(

Woohoo, I got a comment on my Architecture shot, and it climbed up above 5!

I had some ideas for architecture, but technical problems brought me down. (Didn't take the camera with me).

I'm disappointed in my architecture score. It was at 2.5 for a while last night but has climbed up to 3.1 now.
I'm concerned I might have blown my chances for the win.

I'm ... stunned. I'm also reluctant to post this here, since we seem sometimes to dislike high scores, but here goes.
