I can't stop laughing at the moment. I just won another camera. I entered the photo below in a Christmas Photo Competition on Television and each week one photo receives a Fujifilm FinePix F40fd - 8.3mp camera. I was watching the news less than 5 minutes ago when up on screen came my photo and name and the news that I won the camera for this week....this is the very first week of the competition.
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hahahaha.....the funny thing is we have actually been looking for a camera for Xmas for our youngest child (the elf in the image). However, he has been after a 'red' camera (I don't know why) since the beginning of the year. The older two use the DSLR's....so we will see! It may just be one less Chrissie present I have to buy....and that is a good thing.

There are lots of them! There's even a magazine called Photo Contest, that shows winning entries from contests around the country.
Your local camera store might have entry forms hanging from a bulletin board.
Here's one I entered, run by the prefectural newspaper...

congrats judi...im sure since hes actually wanting a camera of his own that he will love that one even tho it isnt red.its a great photo of him btw

You may be able to take the outside part off (or tape off parts) and paint it red for him!

Congratulations! That camera is a triumph of style and substance! Even if it isn't red.
Maybe you could take it to the camera store and talk them into exchanging it for a red one. |

Hahahaha...you have all given me some good ideas about the red part of it. I actually bought him a red camera case for one of my other cameras...thinking that would suffice...NOOOOOOOOO!! Little terror set me straight. So I will try and talk the sponsors into swapping for a red camera....and to be honest...I think he has deserved it. He has been quite the 'little' model for me lately.

Hahahaha...well actually its my second camera in a couple of years. I gave that last one to my other son as he had been asking for a camera at that time too.
