All but a couple of my images today were family/ people shots, but I did get one amusing shot of the basset hound.

This was my first attempt at the tone-mapping/HDR thing and I'd very much appreciate any and all feedback, ESPECIALLY tips and critiques from anyone seeing something I could have done differently and/or better. I was terrified of this technique since forever, but having messed with it a little with the tutorial from  AperturePriority, I am excited about the prospects!

I am really lovin' this HDR stuff. I'm not very good at it yet, but I like the results.

It was just a nice day to plink at things with a camera here today. If you want to comment, just pick one, no need to try to get all of them. I just like to share when it's a good day.

Went to work today to change the backup tapes and found these guys forming on the curb (yes the curb very weird). There must be a queen under there somewhere.
The 100-400mm @ 400 so I was about 8 feet away (this is almost the full shot). Looks good larger, it gets kind of busy resized. |

This is the last one for today. It's actually freezing cold here. I went swimming yesterday and the pool water was MUCH warmer than the air. Today that was out of the question, but by end week it's supposed to be back in the 80s. |
