I took a look at the last challenge, and it seems that so long as the theme is fairy tale like, then it's OK. It doesn't have to represent a specific fairy tale, right?

This challenge is going to take a lot of work for those who enter, but the results could be spectacular. Don't know yet if I'll enter, but I'm definitely looking forward to voting.
Here's Wikipedia's list of fairy tales for anyone looking for ideas ... |

I am entry #5 and it's one of those shots I love so I'm likely setting myself up for disappointment.

You've been on a great roll all year long :)
Just curious, I do wonder if there was another shot you really loved and didn't do well. Any examples? |

It's my wife, so I'm biased. But I liked the high key treatment.
I wanted this to do better too, although I understand with the sharpness being limited by the P&S.
Just two examples. :)

OK, I'm in. I hope to see a lot of lovely, dreamy images in this. Mine will not be one of them ;-) I'm predicting a 5 at best, but I once again got to entertain the neighbors with my weirdness, and really, that's gotta' be worth more than a ribbon, right?
ETA: the photographer's comments will be worth reading on this one.

I am a sour puss on this challenge because I had tons of fairy pictures from the Texas Renaissance festival that ended the day the challenge started. bleh..
