Similar images for Day 17 & 18, but some have asked me about it so putting them together here to see the differances.
Shor on the same day, but dirrerant weather conditions.
One in the shade, when it was overcast, and the other in sunlight, about an hour apart.
Thanks heaps for the comments.

Wow like the Disturbed (that's a band) song i've been down with "The Sickness" (and still am)... some kind of cold or something makes it hard to want to do anything.
Day 15 - It can't rain all the time.
Day 16 - Mountain Man (or a question of thirds)
For the "Rule of thirds" buffs out there; Does one crop this shot leaving room in the direction the man is walking or crop leaving room in the direction he is looking? As cropped with the man in the right third he appears to be looking out of the frame.
Day 17 - (like a) Boat on the Water
The Styx song that everyone has heard but no one knows the name of it.

Sometimes I have no inspiration so I just wing it with my black velvet and soft box. Oh, and it always helps to have tiny rubber chickens lying around.

We work with neighborhood children at my church on Wednesday nights. This particular fellow loves having his picture taken and he loves to show off his gymnastic ability.

The lead in to that song is excellent; rest of the song ain't bad either. Hope you get to feeling better!

Sorry, I can't help it. It's there. It's beautiful. I have to shoot it. This pond is owned by PG&E and its rumored that they are going to close it to the public soon, so I'm getting my shots in now.

Day Eighteen with some bonuses.
What a twirly crowd we have this morning (here it's morning)! Even while I was uploading and editing the details on these photos there were a bunch of views and some comments.
I think this is my favorite side to date. So much fun! We should do another Slice Side in December or so. January? December would be very slicey, though. |
