With the except of the bright spot on top of pitcher, I think you nailed the lighting. And the composition. At first I didn't care for the reddish table, but the more I look at it the more I like it. Well done!

Wow is right! Some 'jaggies' around the rim, maybe use some selective blur (?) to take it away but otherwise I think it's absolutely splendid. Nice work!

Excellent, Darlene. And you want mentoring why?? Composition is simple and elegant. Lighting is also very good - though just a touch "hot" on the handle and the rim. The end result is very, very striking!
