| way to suck the fun out of a good clean laugh. Not one of the comments left was in bad taste, if the SC or the site has problems with this random act of goodness, then thats just crazy. |

Yeah, kind of "heavy handed" eh? That's what I thought. I was just wandering through and saw fir3bird's reference to rule 14 and thought I'd look it up. After I looked it up - I thought it was worth sharing.
I'm ok with my actions being suspect. I worry when my motives become so.

After observing some SC activity today I'd suggest you ask permission. I suspect this will violate Rule 14. |
hehe, ok, I'm here chuckling and scratching my head :-) I'm trying to figure out if you are actually serious here.
Did you read this whole thread? Did you check out the comments that were left? I don't think you understand it.
This is a 'game' (one of many that people frequently come up with) to encourage people to get out and check out and comment on portfolios and pics that they would otherwise probably not see. In this particular case, it actually got the recipient a few favs, and a couple of her goals achieved. I know I enjoyed checking out her stuff, some really cool shots I'd never seen.
It is not stirring up trouble, proving a point, or disruptive behaviour in even any remote form...unless you think that checking your profile, and finding a bunch of new comments and a couple favs is a bad thing???
I'll make a note to make sure to not pick you as a recipient, just to make sure :-) |

Chuckling is good. Just prior to your post I just saw an innocuous behavior draw a threat from a certain SC. The Rule 14 was referenced by that SC in that thread. I could see that with the logic used, your benign suggestion could actually fall under that rule. It was actually more tongue in cheek than anything else. So I personally have no problem with your idea.

| hmm, well now you've got my curiosity peeked. I don't know the thread you're referring to, but if someone was encouraging browsing the site, looking at pics and leaving comments, and they were 'threatened' about it, I sure would like to see it. ???? |

Omygod you guys... woh.. I really really am so unbelivably supriced! really wow :) i could cry.. you all made my day sososo much better.. I coulden't belive my eyes when i opend my profile today! wow im so tuched! I whant to say thanke you to each and everyone of you.. you really made me whant to pick up my camera again and try and better myself.. You don't know how much this has helped me :)
Thanke you all again for taking time to look at my stuff and telling me you honest opinions, this has helped me as a photographer as well as a person :)
