It seems to me that for a dog picture we should be able to bend the rules a little if need be. |

B&W Side challenge / side challenge.
I thought it would be good to see how we all edited the same image and what the different outcomes would be so I have uploaded a large (2.42mb) unedited photo as your original to try your skills and see what the resulting images look like.

 This is a little lake of which there are many high up in the Uinta Mountains. It was late in the evening and starting to get dark. I don't have much experience with photographing at the time of the day so I was experimenting with different settings. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate them. You are all being really helpful to me! Thanks! |

 This is a barbwire photo I took in August and converted to b&w, then I highlighted and deepened the shadow a little. |

way behind on posting was alittle ticked at the site council for dq ing my last entry was considering leaving the site all together but I am over it now........ :)

Day 12 - Complete!
I ran short of time and creativity today, so I'm posting a couple of shots that were taken at the same time as my Day 9 image. The 2nd shot is not converted to B&W, but it's pretty darn close to B&W w/o the conversion (I gave my reasoning for not converting it in the image description).
