| I think my two selections are important. You don't just want very good photos. You want original photos. It doesn't count for much at DPC, but in the real world it often counts for quite a bit. |

Speaking for Entropy, we'd love a boost. I being one of the team who seems to be lacking in inspiration and motivation. I'd love to have her as a boost to the team, what say you?

Usually when I haven't entered something in awhile, I do pretty good. I'm not intentionally going for the brown, but I'd be surprised if I didn't get it.

Speaking of being in the public eye.....
I am published in both the area's bi-monthly (Pun not intended!) GLBT magazines for the Setember/October issues. In the one, I have two shots in the center spread of our area's Gay Pride celebration, and in the other, I have a shot that complements an article a friend of mine wrote about freedom of religious expression and acceptance.
I'm also taking a portrait for publication for the Pa state CASA board of a man who is something of a celebrity for his devotion and contribution to a local orphan's school. The CASA organization is a wonderful thing and I'm delighted to be a part of it.

No money yet, but hey.......the fame! LOL!!!

Hey all just a quick check in. I'll probably be MIA for a bit, letting my wife's sister borrow my camera. She is debating on what model she wants to get and is doing a compare contrast with mine and a D40 she is also borrowing.
Though, I think I have finally succumb to challenge exhaustion. My last 3 entries (currently in voting) have really been DNMCs. I just find these specific challenges a bit weird. Wish there were more FreeStudies, but I digress.

I'm not particularly enamored with any of the challenges at the moment either. When my lovely sub-5 (holding steady at 4.8!) "impressionism" entry ends, I'll have nothing in challenges at all, and nothing slated to go in anytime soon either. Probably just as well - I've been working VERY long hours of late and haven't had time to shoot, edit, or upload anything. Sleep has been a rare commodity as well.
Here's hoping the next batch announced are a wee bit more inspiring! |

I agree...I don't have anything going in challenges right now either and am not inspired by the "opening" or "closing". Hopefully something interesting will come up.

I have a question....
Sometimes when people make comments...the background is green. Can anyone tell me what that means.
I usually see that when a comment has been made on one of my challenge entries but I am seeing it in the B&W side challenge.

At which point we will have access to the "service" elevator here so we can start loading our moving truck and get the hell outta Dodge.
We're about 80% packed and about 800% stressed, but about 8,000,000% happy with this move !

I know what you mean i cant think of a thing for opening or closing. i am in candy. I must have gained 10 lbs shooting that one and this is what i get for it
