Nowadays i read a lot of photography related books. Since most of them use professional or semi-professional Single Lens Reflex systems, most of their writings are more oriented towards those kits. I too may buy a SLR someday and i am collecting all the information i could get. The fact that i have never used a SLR is giving me doubts that i find difficult to get answers. Perhaps some of you could help.
I have heard that most of the SLR systems have an aperture priority mode and shutter priority mode. But if i use an addon lens like 20mm f1.8, 15mm f2.8 etc, will i be able to use the shutter priority mode of the camera? I assume that when we select the shutter priority mode, the camera automatically sets the exposure!
Thanks in advance |

Your lens choice won't affect your ability to use any of the priority modes.

Also, aperture and shutter priority modes exist on many non-DSLR cameras as well.
