I have just returned from another town where they had held an Art Exhibition. In that exhibition was a Photographic Category...and yep...you guessed it. I won!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!! Another $200 prize for this image.

The Drover

I also sold a 10"x15" framed print of this image at a previous exhibition for $500 for a private residence belonging to the Vice Chancellor of a University.

Plus...this image is also featuring on one of my postcards...so I am pretty chuffed at the moment.

Did anyone comment on your shot at the exhibition?
(sorry - I had to)

Congrats once again.
As scalvert told me once, "It's sorta' getting to be like high-fiving you for tying your shoe laces".

You're good. Damned good. Be proud.

Brad you are funny. Actually they did say that it stood out from the crowd. I wasn't at the award presentation...but they told me that when I picked it up.

Congrats Judi!
I live in cattle country in Florida, and though the brush looks different, the cattle, weather, and drovers are similar. I know that all the great images that you put in your portfolio didn't just appear in your camera by some kind of magic. You went to a lot of effort to go get them, and used your excellent eye for what makes good images to capture them. Thank you for sharing.

I don't know what "chuffed" means, but think I agree. :)

Capturing a great back light subject is very difficult. You made it look easy!

Congrats Judi!!!! I'm not surprised it's one of those 'immortal' images you never tire of looking at.

I'll bet that this is one of those images where the tiny representation on the screen doesn't do it justice! Congrats on the recognition, and da money! :-D Have you printed this one on metallic paper?

When I come to Australia to visit will you folks promise to teach me the lingo? I hate looking stupid all the time despite all the practice I've already had. LOL!!!!
