Hi all-
I'm shooting a realtor tomorrow and I'd like some help with suggestions for the shot list.
He's a new realtor and needs a headshot. He's also interested in a variety of images for his website that portray him as competent, confident, young and energetic. He's a younger guy, fairly fit and photogenic.
We're going to shoot outdoors, and have access to a) a residential area, b) a coastline vista c) a downtown vista d) a crowded urban area.
I'm thinking:
a) basic head and shoulders from various angles
b) full body in front of a home
c) full body in front of solid background, for isolating in PP
d) 3/4 shot in front of a couple of vistas incl. downtown Vancouver
e) standing in front of home listening to young couple (if I can find a young couple lol)
f) walking down busy street, smiling, talking into cell phone
g) sitting at table in urban coffee shop talking to young couple
h) classic realtor shot of holding house keys up to camera, focus on his face
ok you get the idea. Any other suggestions? Any hints from those who have done a shoot like this?
I appreciate any help you can give me.

sounds like you have a good framework. just keep it casual, and be ready for opportunities that pop up while you're out. while it's good to have a shotlist, don't feel so stuck to it that you miss out on stuff that wasn't planned. good luck! |

I'm a realtor too ... so if I were to shoot another Realtor I would definately use something very high powered. Probably nothing short of a 30-06 or 7mm magnum. Sometimes it may take two or three shots to get it right so don't get discouraged. |

How about some props? Keys to dangle (polished ones); For Sale/Sold sign, etc... |

I am home Inspector and I tend to agree, the bigger the better, and keep in mind some of them move faster than you would think! |
