No real back story to the shot. I was just bored and in the backyard. I'm not crazy about it due to the blurred circles of light... but I thought the composition was interesting enough to see what everyone thought

I will comment on yours if you go comment on my missed water shot!
LOL
No seriously.
It is a very nice shot.
I like the blurred circles of light they kind of add to the background and are not that distracting.
The colors and lighting are very nice, the focus is good and I like the composition.
I would give it a 8

Interesting - I like it BECAUSE of the white spots. I quite like the shot. |

Thanks, Lionel. I've been trying to guess what that word means for such a long time. |

Don't take the spots away! That makes the shot perfect. Some may see it as a distraction, I see it as an addition. Very nice! I also like the border.

lol... so those circles actually have a technical name? Now that's pretty cool! Thanks for sharing that Lionel!! Very much appreciated!
Thanks to everyone else too! This forum seems to be the only one where I've posted this shot and had people like my Bokeh! :)
I'll check out your water shot Calvus, no worries :)

As a Japanese user, I find this use of the term 'boke' funny.
It's common for people to use just one aspect of a term's meaning in another language. The Japanese, for example, use 'my car' to mean 'private car', resulting in 'let's go to the restaurant in his my car'.
Boke (no 'h', that's just there to help with the pronunciation) just means 'out of focus', sometimes deliberate and sometimes not. 'boyakeru' is also used with the same meaning.
