Well, it has been a long time since I have had a favorite selected during voting, so I am pretty happy that I already have two favs. Also, this is a huge turn around... I was at 4.25 yesterday at this time:)

So you can have an object in the middle of the photograph as long as the Center of Focus (or the main part of your subject is on a third line).
Here is an example photo that has something in the center, but focus on a third line(for those who don't know)

| haha...I'm obviously getting some DNMC votes, but that is because I tried to do a play on it. Even though it fits...I think everyone thinks I took the rule the wrong way. |

 albc28 - Excellent example you provided on more subtle use of rule of thirds. I was the one that PM'd  WickedB because I did not want to provide details about a specific entry on the forum page here. The link you provide is exactly what I was trying to convey.
By the by - I DON'T have an entry or know anyone that does have an entry in this challenge...

That's getting into a grey area and one I personally don't agree with in terms of using the rule of thirds.
