before i swapped to my 20D last May i had 34,000 odd clicks on my 300D (bought Nov 03) i have 29,754 on my 20D

as long as you don't have your camera reset the counter everytime u format a CF card, look at your file number should read something like _MG_9754.jpg/CR2 once the camera reaches 10,000 it resets back to 0, just look at the folder its stored it (i believe it increases everytime it goes round 10K so yours will probably read 005) indicating you in the 500's..

I just ran through another folder of 10K since January on the 1DMKII and I've rattled off a mere 1k on the 10D I recently bought.

About 5600 since end of February. Wow I didn't realise that I had taken so many shots in 5 months. Thats an average of 1100 per month!!!

Passed 10000 last month, at something like 12000 now...

But, im using the K10Ds "digital preview" function to check my histogram now instead of burning off a frame. That probably accounts for another 1-2000 frames...

Right around 14k for me. Its funny doing a search on an image name and getting my crappy shots when I first got the camera last October. Now I have NEW crappy shots to sort through!

Wow! That's a lot of photos!

Of course, the real question is how many of those photos are worth a damn. :D
