I think the judges were surprised by the turn out too - especially AJ anyway. |

Melinda Doolittle has the best voice and picks the right style of songs, which happens to be the type of music I listen to. I hope she wins. She has the voice of a songbird and a humble spirit.
She deserves to win, but no matter she'll record a CD anyway and I'll probably buy it!

What'd you all think of Kelly Pickler? I thought her dress was too tight...and omg, did she have a boob job?! I thought her hair was cute but she looks so much older.

She must have. She's also put on some weight. Is she trying to be Dolly Parton?

Not only was her dress too tight and wreaked of a bad Anna Nicole impression, but she DID look sooooo much older! And boob job...absolutely!
But she did sing well. I sorta have had enough, though, of her naive southern bumpkin routine. I bet she's alot smarter than she lets on! |

I want Antonella gone. I guess all of her internet sex shots are bringing her votes. LOL She is NOT a good singer. Sanjaya is getting the "nice shy boy smile" votes.
I have to say Melinda is the best overall talent. She needs to be singing jazz and R & B. If she were to win and they try to throw her into the pop song pool, it would ruin everything that's GREAT about her.
If Jared can stay consistent, he has a really good voice as does Chris. Sundance has that raspy rocker sound, but I don't know if he has the staying power. Brandon has a good voice but may not have the strength to see him through. I think it's going to get down to just the girls in the end. |

I thought she gained a little weight too, but I don't think she looks bad.

Me too! Every time I see her I think, "She can't be that dumb. It's an act, isn't it??" I suppose she could be naive about some things but if she's really that naive than her IQ must be 10...

I think you're right about Antonella. The sex photos and the fact that she's kinda pretty are the only reasons she's still there.

Agree. Melinda is the best. She'll definitely make the Top 3, if not win. I do think people really like her because she is so quiet and unsure of herself.

Pretty Lame 2nite for the guys--
I liked Blake the best-- (beatbox dude)-- I know the song and I would venture no one else on the show could even come close to doing it...
Brandon did really good, he's prolly got the most talent outta the dudes..
And I give Chris Props for doing a Keith Urban song-- even though it wasnt great, he put his own style to it..

he did a 311 song! don't get much cooler than that. I don't think it was great but it was pretty good. I give him allot of credit for singing it. I was surprised and disappointed that the judges had no clue about it. a couple of them said they were glad people like him were singing new stuff. That song came out in 1995! 12 freaking ago!:) |
