This'll be short, but heartfelt.....

I have two personal bests in a big way.

A 6.7500 and a 55 pre-judging comment entry.

I never even got close to anything like this before here.

You guys are serious good luck and inspiration!

Melethia you have an uncanny talent for understanding and appreciating exactly what people are trying to convey with their photos. Thank you for your comment on my B&W Portrait. You caught everything I was trying for, and even better, you liked it. Your comments are very instrumental in restoring our self-respect here on Team Suck.

Yaay! Thanks in no small part to ~~our ringer~~NikonJeb, Entropy have snuck into the blue ribbon position. Nicely done folk!

Morning to all,
Thanks for including me into the Team suck Family, This is just what i need to get out and put some real effort into my photography.

I hope i don't disappoint to much when i start thinking "outside the box" again (I have a tendency to go this way sometimes) ;-)

In case anybody missed it this would have been my entry into the B&W portrait challenge had i bothered to look and see it was going on.

So who to do now? my new team OOF'ers do i need a logo for the signature to display proudly?

I've been feeling a bit out of sorts lately. I'm sort of in a funk with the whole photography thing. So maybe you all can help me. Take a look at the thumbnails in my portfolio and based on* that, tell me what emotion you'd like to see me photograph. And if enough people answer, I can take the most-suggested one. And I'll do a series of photos based on that emotion.

*edit: by "based on" I mean something in general.. like you'd like to see me do more of a certain emotion or you think I'd be good at a certain one or whatever you think.

Hmm.... an emotion, huh? OK, here's a challenge. Lots of us get in funks of some sort or another now and then - how about starting out with something that represents that, then trying to find pockets of joy or happiness to get beyond that? I know, it sounds weird. But I'm betting if anyone can find a way to express it, you can. :-)

I know what you mean. Shortly after my "match" shot I was going to do a reshoot and a few alternatives, but one of my cats jumped on top of the light tent and tipped it over, sending bits and pieces everywhere. So I took a huff and haven't shot anything since. ;)
