I think y'all need therapy. :-)

I like my chicken spicy if it's Chinese. The style of preparation, not the chicken itself.

And, umm, does *anyone* have a score that's managed to stay above a 6 in this challenge?

as for the spicy chicken .. I am a vegatarian, so no comments on that but the food should be spicy!

Jen likes JP. JP is nice. :) But JP can't seem to find Jen's Photo. Jen is sad. :( Jen also likes spicy chicken, but only in tacos. And yes, Jen may need therapy after this challenge. :-)

Wow. I just got a really crap comment from someone who has NEVER entered a challenge and whose average vote cast is 4.5. Just peachy. Would put some comments here about that but it's not for me to stoop that low.

Damn! I went from sustained mid-6's on Wednesday, to sustained upper 5's on Thursday, to low 5's today (Friday).

I'm afraid to look tomorrow.

After two consecutive second-to-best personal highs this week, I'm thinking about taking a break through the holidays . . . NOT!

(it's sooooo addictive!...SOMEONE HELP ME!)

I'll help you.

But first, you'll need to hand over your camera to me...

Your first challenge, good luck - you seem to be doing well!

BTW, for all those that gave me DNMC votes, my photo has rolled over and died... so now your DNMC's are void, please change your scores ;-)

Was at 6.1 for a couple of days but went down to 5.7 for a bit, very up and down.

DNMC - what does that mean? If its in regards to not meeting criteria I think the person (not giving names) should slow down for a second and look at the picture and title and he will understand the shot and realise it does meet the criteria as noone else has complained.

I've gone through and bumped up quite a few. There are some awesome shots in this challenge but the scores are just too ridiculous. I really hope others will take a second look as well, and try not to be overly judgemental.

If death disturbs you so, I can't understand why you'd put yourself through voting in the first place...

Hehe. Wouldn't it be great if that logic actually worked? I'm thinking of my "Famous Last Words" entry - LOL.

Means "does not meet challenge", yes. I think some voters like to look at the picture and title together as a whole, but others do not feel as though photography should have to refer to a title. So an image with a connection to the challenge that is conveyed purely through the title is going to see that reflected in its score.

I'm not saying this is your situation - it is indeed true that sometimes people do not slow down enough to give a picture a second glance.

5.9's still a good score though, so I wouldn't let the one comment bother you too much.

Not until you pry it from my cold, dead hands. Wait! That should've been my image for this challenge! Doh!! LOL!

Just commented on some of the images I scored low so I hope that'll be helpful to a few people. I hope to do more commenting later.

Aww, welcome! I hope yours wasn't one I scored low. I commented on a few higher scoring ones just now too.

edit: I've actually been trying to guess which one's yours and I've seen a couple that I think could possibly be. So it will be interesting to find out! :-D

JP isn't good at finding others photos, sorry Jen. :(

JP could find Han.
JP could find Gaby.
(The two photos have something in common that made ID easier.)

JP thinks JP commented on Julia's, but that's a guess.

But JP has yet to ID Jen's.

JP is getting angry!

Happy to be at a 6 in this one, even if JP wasn't one of the 9 commenters.
:P

JP = alfresco

You mean there were 230 when voting started? Then the 2 got disqualified because someone demanded a validation of their shots and they broke the rules.

That's indeed a VERY nice first challenge:
6+, 16 comments and one fave - couldn't be better! Good luck :)

834 views? Then you probably have a nice looking woman in your shot ;)
