Is anyone else having trouble trying to vote and comment of this "Death" challenge.
I am really finding it hard to stop and look at each image, as some are just so grosse, not bad images, but hard to visually look at, without one stomach turning over.
I wasn't going to vote or comment at all on this one, but felt that wasn't fair on the people who entered this challenge. I decided I would do so, but I am somewaht shaken a little with some of the images.
Occasionally an image turns up thet pleasing to the eye, for a vote and comment that pleases me, and not sure if thats should happen in this death challenge.
I have completed 30% of the votes, and done a about 5% re comments, but will try and get back to do some more. I am really finding this one of the hardest challenges to actually view, vote, and especially comment on.
I always try and vote 100% each and every challenge, so I do hope I get back to this one, and finish it if possible. The people who entered this one deserve that, I think.

What I find odd is all the dead animal shots, or people simply capturing something that appears dead. But I dont see to many shots that are thought provoking of "this is my idea of death"(un fortunatly I think I fell in that trap as well) just simply alot of dead things and headstones. |

Well.. I did something that is not a dead critter, and it`s not helping my score..Actually it is dropping everytime I update...

Well... at least you are doing better than me :P (obviously since yours is far better than mine) I am kind of missing the 5.5+ score feeling... :( |

As Im getting on in voting I am finding a few that are not dead critter plant, tombstone, which is getting them more points in my book for the orginality, going to bed now becaues am afraidsome of my comments though are getting harsh (not wanting to be) but the execution on some of theses (pun intended) is not so hot (and yes my shot is far from perfect) so I am trying to not be mean but point out what it is I see that is a glaring prob in some shots |

Wow... people really don't like this subject matter, and its reflecting in their vote.
Started at 6.5, and been steadily dropping ever since. Wonder if I'll wake up to 4's tomorrow! |

I can't believe I've put such a subject in a challenge called death...poo poo scores though I can't help but laugh...and why do my pics look presentable only on my monitor...bah

This is what you get when you don't shoot cliché photos. I explored the realm of real death in my shot. Not dead leaves or tombstones or road kill. Oh well this is what yo get when you decide to NOT take the easy shot.

You can request a self-DQ if you really want. Stay in though - it's not all about scores and averages.

This one is tough! Mine was flirting with 6 for a while, but dropping today...5.6 now :(

I'm thinking I should've stayed out of this challenge altogether. A shoe-horned shot into life would probably be doing better then an actual death related photo in the death challenge.
The subject matter is hard to vote on and it's definitely showing in the scores, I think. My score has been all over the place from a low of 3.6 to a high of 5.8 and now back down to a 5.4. I'm actually fine with my score as I didn't expect it to do well, but it seems the scores are really low across the board. |

Just got absolutely hammered overnight. Commenters say the shot is different from all the rest of the entries (in a positive way) yet the masses disagree. Oh well.

This is a crazy challenge .. never seen a drop this bad before in the 40 challenges I entered...
I was at 6.6 with about 60 votes yesterday night and this morning woke up to a 6.0707 ??
Reading the posts here it seems I am not the only one facing this crazy drop!

| Well...have 5 decent comments, 1 fav. but still under 100 votes with a score of something.something something something something. Started off in the mid 4's after first 25 votes or so and now a full point and half above that with just over 90 votes. |

Same here - had a 6.5ish at one point yesterday afternoon and now am at 6.0ish.
Ugh - it drops everytime I update.....so I'm gonna stop pressing the stupid thing before the score gets any lower!
