Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4D

Evening all,

Have you ever been out and about and thought you 'spotted' someone famous??

I had a very long and boring train journey yesterday but most of it was spent wondering if THIS was who I thought it was. By the end of the journey I was certain he was famous and when he carried my bags off the train (I am on crutches) I decided he was also the perfect gentleman. So is it just me or do you guys recognise his face?

I dunno know who the boy wizard is, but I'm sorry to hear you are still hobbling (hobbiting?) around. May all the carriers of your luggage be as good looking as this guy.

not sure that's him. just did a google search, and in all of the pictures I've seen of him (even candids), he doesn't wear glasses. circumstantial at best, I admit. It does look like him, though!

LOL I googled when I got home too and it seems he does have to wear glasses in 'real' life but often loses them...I just dont know...

Hey John,

I'd have felt pretty uncomfortable asking him! It's fun trying to work out if someone is famous or not but I dont think I could ever actually come right out and ask them!! I've obviously got no guts!

when I was googling I was amazed at the weird people out there! Some sites I found, people were asking things about where he lived and some of it was bordering on stalking...scary stuff! I'd love to know if it was him though...I am 99% sure though!

I am just amazed, that apart from being on crutches, and you also had bags to carry.....You had your friend with you, yes, your camera.....
I too think it maybe the magician, there at your side, and again, you will be always wondering if it was him.
I too, take my friend, my camera, with me everywhere, and sometimes my dear Peter say, "what not again".....
I do hope it wont be long before you are off your crutches, and wish you all the best, dear girl.....
