Day 16: The Cat Club

Ok so it is only day 13 but since a lot of people asked about this one I figured I would post it. These are red fronted lemur, very cute and very curious. They are actually a lot more gentle then my cat. The one problem with going in with them, is that they a) are perfectly willing to walk, jump on you (good thing they only weigh about 5ish pounds) and b) You have to be careful if you are under any of them, because they don't have any particular spot where they go the bathroom. The expression is either from a) a lemur jumping into the food tray or b) ...
Hope this explains to everyone satifaction.

Day 17 - the shelter lizard I mentioned yesterday. While the eye is striking and the color is good, I was not entirely happy with the background and messed with it quite a lot ... still not sure it's as good as it could be but not sure what to change, either.

I am entertained by the increasingly pissed-off cat pix. At this rate, by the end of the challenge most of you will have them trained to hiss and arch their backs when they see the camera, which should be just perfect for the Halloween season ;-)))

Day 15 Sandy needs a break, I would photographer her sleeping but she is having so much fun with the challenge that she wakes up every single time I go anywhere near my camera. I barely touch it, she can be dead asleep and she will wake up expecting a treat.
So to give Sandy a break here is a Pallas' Cat from the Columbus Zoo.

Day 17: Peeking
She's used to the camera. I've been taking shots of her since she was a little kitten. She especially doesn't mind it if she's playing. She's just about to pounce on a toy in that photo. |
