 Another iguana, much more colorful than our other one. I had to do a lot of PP on this, mostly because the bright green legs were distracting from the head, and I was stuck with the angle I had because I was shooting through an immovable cage (and the lizard wasn't in the mood anywhere). So I colored the legs the same as the cage material and then blurred them.

I had a couple of other variations I played with (tighter crop and processing variation):



In answer to the macro question: just used the zoom. I have decided lizards are VERY photogenic beasts!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Incredible detail and color. Superb DOF. The acid yellow of the lizard really pops out from the background color. Excellent image!

I think you shoulf reshoot this and submit for Bokeh, I think it would do very well.

woman, you mighta aughta bring this lizzard on home. I agree, very photogenic (not sure I could sleep with one in the house). I truly think you'd do really well in a challenge with this picture. should we suggest a "lizzard" challenge? or a "pre-history in modern times" challenge?
