Has there been an official ruling on the max file size of the picture? Is it still 150K or was it increased?

What were you suspended for?

There are already 2 entries!!! Now, if one of them would be me, I would have to freeze myself in a container until challenge starts... because I wouldn't be able to sleep... think about it all the time... I mean 30 days? I can hardly wait 7 days, 30 days, I would be carried to a hospital's intensive care...

...man!

I hope I can get a little road trip in. I love free studies once I decide what to shoot. Before then it seems like a bewildering choice of possibilities.

I didn't even notice the 720px goodness...

Yea! Free Studies are almost always a 'book' that one can sit back with a nice beverage of your choice and 'turn' pages when the voting commences:-) Good Luck to all whom enter!

I have two wonderful shots already that I could enter. Problem is that if I enter one than I cannot share/submit the OTHER to public view untill after the challenge is over - there are a few elements in both photos that are similiar enough to remove the anonymous factor.

Argh!

Of course, I could just not enter the challenge and submit just to my gallery to increase everyone elses chances:-) Ah, decisions, decisions....;-)

Not true. You gotta give the voters what they want! :P

FREE STUDY ! ! ! Does that mean that it's impossible for me to get a DNMC? Now I know the trolls are out to get me if I get a DNMC.

You can still get a DNMC: just photograph something you have to pay for, and it ain't "free" :-)

LOL!! How true. I posted my entry last night. My very first "free study" challenge. Didn't even check the previous ones. Did the shot, loved it, entered it. If that's not the kiss of death, I don't know what is ;-))

After having been on this site for months and loving all the photos that I see I finally decide to become a paid member. Yesterday I was all set to enter this challenge with my photo and had it almost submitted when an error came up saying my photo had to be at least 720 pixels. So my question is how do I get my picture to be 720 pixels in photoshop? I have version 3.0 here. I have it down to the right file size now just now pixels. Any help that you can give would be greatly appricated, and sorry if something about this has already been posted. Thanks :)

okay - I have my Free Study entry entered, and I'm pretty happy with it. In fact I think it deserves a ribbon - seriously! Now if it doesnt ribbon, it will only prove that DPC voters have no taste and are totally lame. :p
