Take a look what's on the front cover of a Belgian TV magazine :
warning male nudity potentially offensive
That is not an adult mag, just a plain TV program type publication.
Fun ain't it ?

OK, now that is just funny! ... even if I am looking at wiener, it's still funny.

It really is time to move to Europe. I thought Canada had a more sensible and pragmatic approach to everything, but this is the last straw. I'm going.
And here I thought it was time to move from the US to Canada... Maybe I should change that to New Zealand?

The past should never be a template for the future. Not that the world is going in a positive direction by any means, but we have certainly eliminated many horrible things!

So its ok for a 12 year old to get pregnant if she doesn't get married? The "not married" rate for pregnant 15-19 year olds has risen drastically.

I see nothing wrong with it, for all we know it's someone's arm. They don't show enough of it to verify that it's actually a breast.

I just have to ask, "what's wrong with this country?" It's like we're moving backwards, not forwards.

The US Government is currently running a radio (and probably TV) public service ad campaign encouraging women to breastfeed for at least six months.

In addition to improved immunity, it also appears to be protective against childhood obesity (and thus probably diabetes and heart disease as well).

Good start... now, I wonder how the supreme court will react to some of the states that still consider public breast feeding Indecent exposure?

WTF? Those are my tax dollars at work?

That is the WORST spot I have ever heard especially for something like Breast Feeding ...

*Shakes head and lays down on the floor in the fetal position and rocks back and forth saying "It's just a bad dream it's just a bad dream"*

Hmm, yeah, good point Eugene, but to an extent. I'm not sure if shoving stuff in people's faces (figuratively speaking) is a good way to change minds nowadays. Kind of like protests and stuff, I think that anymore, they just make people mad. There's got to be better ways to change society.

What I really wish is for people to mind their own business and quit trying to get everyone else to think like them and cater to them... if it doesn't hurt anyone, then you shouldn't be bothered by it. I mean this at myself too. I wish I could just ignore people that hold views that I personally find "dumb"

kinda funny how I'm always pushing at people to stop pushing their opinions on other people, not to mention I do it all the time

I really think it shouldn't matter if women breastfeed in public, but I also think that there's something to be said for a little "social norms" respect. Kind of a tossup for me, and you bring up a good point that's making me think eug, but I think it's a little different than people's physical human rights not to be enslaved or discriminated against. IDK... a battle between respecting the public space that you share and also respecting an individual's right to use that space

My view exactly. Same idea as picking your nose or scratching your privates. There's nothing inherently wrong with it, but we all know it bothers many folks so we're discreet about it (most of us, at least).

I'm sorry. Breasts are NOT primary sex organs. They were provided for the purpose of feeding children, and NONE of us would be here if women had not always come equipped with such handy, wholesome, convenient, healthy food dispensers.

BTW, I work with a guy who weighs about 350 lbs, and HE has bigger breasts than that photo. THAT is offensive to my eyes.

And guys, notice none of the European DPC folks are involved in this discussion? They can't believe we're so stupid as to be a) turned on or b) turned off by this. We were created to be fed in that manner. And to give formula to a baby and say it's the modern improvement over Mother's milk is beyond any reach of imagination.

Maybe we should abandon eating foods and go right to vitamins and supplements - perhaps by I.V. - so we can talk on our cell phones without having a full mouth. Sheesh!

Why does this even need to be debated?
As for the comments about using formula or breast pumps, we have IVF so why have sex? We have IV drips so why eat? We have wheel chairs so why walk? All of these things have a place and importance but would you use them if you didn't have to?

Penny Lane beat you by a full day on that one. ;)

I second that! But wait til I grab my camera and head to the park. routerguy commissioned me to do a whole series of shots.

Now y'all go breastfeed, y'hear. ;-)

Whats wrong with this image, it seems many americans are very puritanical about all things natural.

this is a beautiful natural image.

Seen lots of European folks who said this is crazy. I still have no words. Always thought the American were a bit open minded, but they're not all

BUT to still be breastfeeding a 3 YEAR OLD child? I have been told that breast feeding causes a woman to have sexual feeling and reactions and that one of the reasons doctors like it so much is that it does cause the uterus and such to contract in a very similar way to the prelude to an orgasm and get it back to it's original shape faster, so you have a woman who is still breastfeeding her 3 year old daughter complaining about the side of a breast on a magazine cover? Hell, from that angle it could be an arm, a leg, even a butt for that matter!

Deannda

The WHO recommends breast feeding a child until they're 4 years old. It's actually normal in many countries, but the western world seems to have a problem with it.
