Squeaking in by 0.026 points as my lowest-rated with a "fav" designation is this tribute to a contentious time in the DPC forums ... please note, however, it does attempt to meet the challenge description as explicitly as possible ...

I just read the comments on this one. Talk about spanning the range of opinions here. Excellent job in getting not only the message across with the photo, but inspiring your audience to back it up with comments! |

Of my eight lowest-scoring entries, 5 of them have favorites, My lowest-scoring entry ever was this one, and it has 8 favorites:

Read the photographer's comments, and browse the 77 comments on the image :-) I was very new here then (a month and a half I think) and my attitude re: "art" in DPC has mellowed a bit since then...

Just goes to show the relative ranking of water drops vs pugs in the DPC popularity charts :-)

Scored 176 out of 250. One favorite. This was one that took a little studying to appreciate - not your typical "look for 2 seconds, then vote" image... Marjo and Art Roflmao got it. |

Thanks, I had a sore hand for two days!! This was one of those challenge entries where I worried so much about the technical aspects that the composition totally blows. It was this time I learned that just because something takes a long time or is complicated, does not mean it will automatically receive or deserve high scores. If I only would have remembered this lesson in my ten entry...

Yeah, I think it was the composition that led me to only give it a 6. I thought it was really neat though! Glad I got to see it again! |
