Well, summer night (my 30s entry) and the same scene in the winter. The only difference is the lens setting and length of exposure. Winter must have been 12mm and summer is more like 17mm if I remember it right.

I'm a bit sad about the score of the summer nightscape, because I only needed 0.020 extra (that's like a 10 instead of an 6 or so) to finally bump one of the other windmills of my profile page that has been sitting there for 2.5 years. :))

Now only a fall ans springy tulip foto of the same scene and I can start selling them to tourists on the spot. :))

And if you aren't tired about windmills by now, here are some more. I do wonder if there is nothing else interesting enough in Holland to use in a landscape. :(

These three are all the same windmill btw.

:)

Yeah, we love windmills. But he is the Kinderdijk guy and the Schermer is my territory. :)

If you have time in the first couple of weeks in August you should come over for a couple of days (beds & vodka no problem) so you can shoot your own. There'll even be turning ones, promise (don't know if they turn before or after the vodka). :)

They're the only things that stick out in our flat flat endlessly flat land. :)

Hehe you Dutch guys got your own windmill territories :))))

Sure why not, I'll have to tell you closer to the time though. But even if the vodka doesn't make them windmills turn, we'll just add a radial blur to them :)
