hit you from 5 different searches... You should work on your SEO (search engine optimization). There were search enigines that you didn't show up for "troy mosley photography". |

Jeez you're putting the original files up w/o watermarks or anything? That seems a little risky imho...

i didnt notice i was offering original views on my model shots,
thanks its fixed now,
watermarking i feel is tacky, its like having a store clerck follow you throught the store,to keep you from stealing.
anyways, all the peeps on my site have already bought their prints and showed all their family and stuff, if they want to come back and steal the pics, theres nothign i can do to stop them

statcounter.com also offer a similar service... Going to check out this google analytics now, though
Edit: I just checked. never mind. Statcounter is slightly different, though it does tell you when you get a hit from a search engine and what was typed in the search engine...

I love this service! The code is installed at my smugmug home. A great value, since most of my customers find me via the web. |

I checked in on statcounter and also loaded it into my site, I now like that one a alot more. Much more info it shows and seems to me like its pretty much easier to read all your info.
For this to be free its pretty awesome.

I put Analytics on my sites also and they don't appear to be working properly. Maybe it takes some time to kick into gear. One site says 'waiting on data' and the other says 'collecting data' but neither are showing any data.

John, I've been experimenting with Google Analytics on a site, too. I found that it generally takes 24 hours before you'll start seeing data.

Looks impressive, I've added myself to the waiting list.
I have something similar but nowhere near as sophisticated on my blog... come and take a look and see yourself appear on the map on the right hand side: //eyesopenmusic.blogspot.com |

Are any of you using hosts who also provide stats (webalizer, awstats, analog stats, etc.) and if so, is Google Analytics better or is it just that you had no stats before? |

Am I alone in just getting my log files off my main website and looking at them in Excel? |

My host does provide stats but they are painfully slow to load.
