...I'm considering three options. Each is open to 64 entrants.

FORMAT 1: $10 entry fee. Total of 4 winners, total of $200 in prizes, approximately $402 raised for MS. $100 prize for winner, $50 for 2nd place, $25 to each of 2 semifinalists.

FORMAT 2: $20 entry fee. Total of 4 winners, total of $400 in prizes, approximately $824 raised for MS. $200 prize for winner, $100 for 2nd place, $50 to each of 2 semifinalists.

FORMAT 3 $25 entry fee. Total of 8 winners, total of $500 in prizes, approximately $1034 raised for MS. $200 prize for winner, $100 for 2nd place, $50 to each of 2 semifinalists, $25 to each of 4 semifinalists.

If you would enter this tournament, please indicate which formats you would be willing to enter. For ease of tallying, pleast list the numbers of the formats you would enter at the beginning of your posts (for example, "1 and 2", "3 only" or "1, 2 and 3") but feel free to follow up with whatever discussion or explanation you like.

Thanks!

Count me in, if it's one, short on funds, can't afford much but will help where I can.

Agreed! Keep up the great work, man.

Format 1 probably works the best, if ya want to keep up a chain of these fund-raisers. Works best for me, anyway.

Yeah, it might be tough to get 64 peeps for two or three. But maybe you can.

I will do whatever one you decide.

1,2 or 3 for me.

1, 2, and 3

I would enter any of them but I would prefer to see you raise the most money possible for your cause by doing it again.

Yep...I am in.

I think it would be tough getting a field of 64 in as much as I would like to see Terry raise more money. A few of us actually had donated "bonuses" to the cause by going to Terry's site. If we go with the format 3 then I suggest maybe getting a pulse and seeing if we should narrow the field down to 32 perhaps as 64 might be too much for the $25 registration ;)

I think 1 works best. Either way, it not only raises funds for e great cause but also promotes an active participation on the site ;) We're seeing folks that enter week after week and they normally don't do that ;)

and count me in.

you can count me in (1,2,or3)- I'm a glutton for punishment. Besides - this is raising money for a very good cause.

Any of the listed formats is fine.

I would be glad to be humiliated in the first round again for a good cause. :\

I'd go for any of them, though 3 raises you the most money.

I would be in for 1 and I'm sure my wife Jaded_youth would be too.

Why not do 1 and add one more bracket? More money for MS, and more people can participate.

I don't think I can get 128 people. Also, 2 and 3 each earn more than twice what 1 does (note the estimated amounts raised for each option).

Well, here are my 2¢s on the issue:

Some thoughts on how to raise money for MS:

Create some Bleacher Creatures (Bleacher Bums?) to root for Team Canon, or (er) the other teams competing. But it̢۪ll cost ya a donation to the MS tourney to be an Official Bleacher Creature. (self policing)

Offer Virtual Dollars for Rewards. In other words, require $10, $25, (whatever) real money entry fees, but everything goes to MS; only Very Big Virtual Dollars (can be redeemed for 2¢ actual cash) to the winners. No real money prizes. But incredible bragging rights.

But I wish you'd wait until I get back from my big trip to France & Greece before you start. I wanna play this time!
