They're close, but the entered image is significantly better than the 2-second one IMO.

No difference implies that you submitted the 6sec shot just to flaunt the rules.

i think they're both gorgeous...and think that the true 2 second one is a tad better... and IN MY OPINION anyone who says negative things is just jealous that their photos didn't do as well.
I would report any pms or emails to SC that are extreme..

I didn't enter the challenge so does that still apply:-) Each to their own but I don't need to agree it should have been entered and I don't need to agree that it's good for the site.

I agree, there is no need for that. |

Jealous? You're dammed right I'm jealous. I tried and tried to get a decent 2 sec shot but they all sucked. My 6 - 10 second shots of sky were much better but I couldn't/didn't use them.
...now looking back, maybe I should have!

I like the clarity of the 6sec challenge pic. Would've voted it higher. |

While I do not agree with the submissions that were longer or shorter than 2 seconeds, I also do not agtree with people PMing or emailing others regarding this. It seem a bit extrmeme to me to go through looking up who didnt follow the detils of the challenge just to tell them how wrong they were.
By the way, I voted your image high (9) as I really liked the scene. Yes, I was disappointed to see you had not truly shot it in 2 seconds, but that is irrelevant at this point. Your 2 second shot is not as clear, but also is good enough that I would have still rated it high.

I gave the image you entered an 8. The 2 second one would have received a 4 or 5. That's just me. I am sure hundreds of other voters would have done similar. The 2 second shot is bland and lacks contrast and definition. The 6 second shot is near perfect in exposure.
If they were both the same, why didn't you enter the 2 second one?

You say that like it's a pass. It's like Dale Earhart Jr. saying I'm sorry I placed the wrong restrictor plate on my carb before the race. I hope you overlook it and let me keep my 1st place finish.
This is going around and around in various forums - the 2 second rule. Let me point out that I did not submit a photo in the challenge so I'm not speak from a stand point of jealousy.
I understand your mistake and had you missed the deadline because you had to redo your photograph, I would have sympathized with you.
It's a sad state of affairs when challenge descriptions have to be outlined in court document form in 'Extra Rules' because people seem to think that details such as time being subjective to interpretation.
Had I known that the Tv was 6 seconds, I would have voted much lower than the 8 I did.

Is this horse dead or can it be beaten further?
And yes the 6 sec shot is better, if that is your editing or not, I certainly can't say. |
